Welcome to Soosloff.com

My artwork is an expression of my feelings and  interpretations of the world. I choose  the venue of the human figure in its surrounding environment as my voice, because this is my way of creating a moment in time with which to communicate.  I try to touch on the universal moments, which I feel exist when things seem to come together in a symbolic and/or metaphoric way to describe feelings and expressions, which lie beneath the surface.  This can be a mood, such as one’s existential aloneness, or a statement regarding an issue I feel strongly about.  The viewpoint I select represents what I experience through my “own personal periscope”.  The formal shape and composition of each sculpture is also extremely important to me.
